Their stocked collections, including Devonia, Moorland, and Simply Natural, feature wool-rich products in a variety of colours. Additionally, some of Axminster carpets are custom woven to order. This bespoke service, executed by the skilled team in Axminster, Devon, ensures your carpet is meticulously crafted to your specifications. The products available in this service include Hazy Days and Myth & Moor. Each carpet is individually made in Britain using traditional methods and is hand-inspected for quality.
Axminster wool is sourced from the finest selection of British sheep breeds, considered to be the highest quality wool you can weave into carpet.

These contemporary wool-rich carpets are available in Neutrals, Pastels, and Colours, and are crafted from the finest 2-ply yarn to ensure extra durability.
The quality of a woven carpet is defined by the number of holes per square inch, known as the “pitch,” and the arrangement of these holes, which can be either perfect squares or rectangles. The size of these holes determines the thickness of the thread used; thicker yarn creates a more intense texture underfoot.
At Axminster, they use the best pitch available for each carpet’s feature or design. The highest domestic pitch is 8 x 10, with eight columns and ten rows per square inch, totalling 80 tiny holes to weave the yarn through.
The most popular pitch for designed carpets is our unique 8 x 8 pitch, featuring 64 tiny holes per square inch. This perfect square arrangement allows for precise designs, including perfect circles or squares with uniform line thickness, and smooth diagonal lines.
Such precision and detail are impossible with the rectangular 7 x 9 pitch used by most other manufacturers.
Simply Natural
The Axminster Simply Natural carpet comes in two stunning designs: Simply Natural Ribgrass and Simply Natural Grosgrain, each available in an array of beautiful colors, including Basalt/Eggshell, Flint/Eggshell, Quartz, and Straw/Black.
Crafted from 100% pure new wool, this carpet features Axminster’s latest Cable-Tec 6 ply yarn, making it exceptionally soft and plush underfoot while remaining highly durable.
Proudly made in the United Kingdom, the Axminster Simply Natural carpet is available in 4 and 5-meter widths and has a tog rating of 1.
The Simply Natural Ribgrass and Grosgrain designs weigh 42 oz, have a twist pile construction, and are suitable for extra heavy domestic and commercial use.
Velvet
The Axminster Velvet Collection is a mixed-yarn carpet made from 80% wool, 15% nylon, and 5% polyester fibers, available in 12 colors.
A few of the colors in this range include Feather Plume, Brushed Velvet, Smokey Shore, and Star Dune.
The Axminster Velvet Collection carpet comes in two width options, 4 and 5 meters, to minimize potential wastage.
This exceptional carpet by Axminster features a tufted construction, making it suitable for both heavy domestic and extra heavy domestic applications.
Cobble Weave
The Axminster Cobble Weave is an excellent wool pile carpet available in 10 earth tone colors.
Some of the colors include Araniko Loop, Taklamakan Sphere, Langtang Greek, and Dolakha Spire.
Made from 100% wool fiber, the Axminster Cobble Weave carpet comes in two width options, 4 and 5 meters, to minimize potential wastage.
